my hopeful topic

For this next paper I hope to write about the ethical issues of builders taking advantage of people like in the example we read in class. I chose to write about builders because I hope to some day be a general contractor. The reason I say I hope to write about this is because I feel like in this class I will never know what she is actually going to accept me writing about until a couple days before the final paper is due.  

one step closer

Finally done with that manifesto which makes me very happy because that means I am one essay closer to summer. I am looking forward to going back home to Texas this summer, although I feel as though I am going to get bored and want to come back to auburn. Its not like Texas isn’t going to be fun. I am going to be guarding lives and going out on the lake and everything, but its just not the same as auburn and living in a college town on my own. oh well probably to early to be talking about summer anyways.  

on to the next one

Just turned in my unit two paper and all I can say is that I am very glad that is over! I am not a huge fan of writing and being one more essay closer to the end of this course is really relieving. The midterm tomorrow hopefully wont be too bad. Somewhat worried though because I have not talked to anyone who has had a midterm like this…. Should be interesting.

trying to be productive

Been working on my paper more. Not really to much going on. I believe that my paper is going well so far I’m hoping to be able to finish another rough draft before tomorrow (Friday) so that I can go into office hours and get heather to check it again. I doubt it happens due to thirsty Thursdays, but nothing wrong with thinking positively!

conference

Today was the day of my conference with professor Pavletic.  I believe that it went very well. She seemed to like to my rough draft and the direction of where it was going. Knowing that she appreciated my rough draft definitely gave me some confidence, especially after re writing my essay about five times.

I have made some of the changes that yall told me would help out with my paper and believe that I have a descent paper for Heather to revise tomorrow.
