Writing a couple papers for music appreciation. I would like
to just say how much I think it is necessary to make students take pointless
fine arts credits such as music appreciation. I absolutely agree with whoever
made the curriculum where engineering students need to take a music class. The reason
I agree with this is because I know later on in life when I have a career in
whatever engineering thing I will be doing I know that I will come across a
time where I will need that knowledge of music. You never know when your going
to be on a job site and need to know about Beethoven and Mozart. It happens all
the time!
I agree with you completely here mate. So key and necessary. I wish i could take more music...love it!!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate how you stayed in character the whole blog entry, it was very inspiring and I may model a few of my own after yours now, so thank you for the idea. I just don't see how they expect everyone to have this appreciation for music, not to say that I don't, I just don't think it should be forced.
